Ο Πρόεδρος της Δημοκρατίας κ. Νίκος Χριστοδουλίδης μεταβαίνει στη Νέα Υόρκη, όπου θα προσφωνήσει την 81η Γενική Συνέλευση των Ηνωμένων Εθνών, ενώ κατά τη διάρκεια της εκεί παραμονής του θα συναντηθεί με τον ΓΓ των ΗΕ, με την προσωπική του απεσταλμένη, καθώς και με αρχηγούς κρατών ή κυβερνήσεων και επικεφαλής Οργανισμών και πολυεθνικών εταιρειών. Θα έχει, επίσης, επαφές με εκπροσώπους της κυπριακής ομογένειας.
